I have been practicing family law exclusively since 1986, and became a Board-Certified Specialist in Family Law in 1991. Over the past 20 years, I have mediated hundreds of family law cases. I am also certified as a family law arbitrator by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Although I have tried numerous family law cases, I prefer to resolve matters out of court. It is much less stressful for everyone when I can resolve my cases through some form of alternative dispute resolution. If it becomes necessary, I have extensive experience in the Guilford, Alamance, and Rockingham County court systems.
My core objectives are to provide clients with the best representation possible. I achieve this by presenting them with realistic alternatives to resolving their matters. By doing so, we cause as little harm as possible to families going through the divorce process.
